We have simplified the process to get Pork to your fork. We schedule the hog with the processor. The Processor, Syracuse Custom Meats in Syracuse, will reach out to you on the day we deliver your hog to discuss processing. Once they are finished processing your meat they will then again give you a call to let you know when to pick up your meat.
You are getting- either a half or whole side of a hog.
-A whole weighs approximately 280# (This will equate to around 200# of ready to process meat). We deliver to to the processor on the date you select on this product.
-A half weighs approximately 140# (This will equate to around 100# of ready to process meat). We deliver to to the processor on the date you select on this product.
- Processing for 1 half or while hog including packaging. Processing includes any and all cuts of meats. Such as bacon, hams, pork chops, ribs, pork steaks, roasts, ect. Along with freezer wrapping of your meat.
How much meat do you get?
- a half will yield around 80# of packaged cuts
-a whole will yield around 160# of packaged cuts
